- סַדְרָן, סוֹדְרָןm. (סָדַר) one who arranges traditions systematically, systematic scholar, opp. פילפלן dialectician. Y.Hor.III, 48c top הסו׳ (Bab. ed. הסד׳). Midr. Till. to Ps. 87 (ref. to 2 Kings 20:20) ‘he brought the water (of the Law) into the city, שהוא סו׳ because he (Ezekiah) was a collector, v. next w.
